Rennie Yamahata

Harpist from Tokyo/Japan. From 1981 to 1985 she worked as solo harpist at the Stadttheater Luzern. In this function she has been engaged at the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra since 1985. As a soloist she performed among others with the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the ensemble Ars Nova de Paris, the RSO Bruxelles, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Prague Chamber Orchestra and the RSO Stuttgart. She was also from 1992 to 1993 representing the first solo harp at the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Currently she is a professor of University of Music in Trossingen. Since 1985 member of the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra.
