Pilot

British rock band

Pilot was a Scottish rock group formed in 1973 in Edinburgh by David Paton and Billy Lyall, with Stuart Tosh and Ian Bairnson joining later. They are best known for their hit singles "Magic" and "January," which were prominent during the mid-1970s. Their self-titled debut album, "Pilot," was released in 1974, followed by their most successful album, "Second Flight," which featured the international hit "Magic." The band's sound was characterized by catchy pop melodies and polished production, which helped them gain significant airplay and chart success during their peak years.
