Peter Cetera is an American singer, songwriter, and bassist best known for being an original member of the rock band Chicago, from its formation in 1967 until his departure in 1985. During his tenure with the band, Cetera sang lead vocals on several of Chicago's biggest hits, including "If You Leave Me Now," which won a Grammy Award. After leaving Chicago, he embarked on a successful solo career, releasing his self-titled album "Peter Cetera" in 1981. His solo work continued to garner acclaim with hits like "Glory of Love," which served as the theme song for the film "The Karate Kid Part II" and was nominated for both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.
