Patty Smyth

Patty Smyth

American Rock Singer and Songwriter

Patty Smyth is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist for the rock band Scandal. She joined the band in the early 1980s, and together they released a self-titled debut EP in 1982, which included the hit single "Goodbye to You." Their success continued with the album "Warrior" in 1984, featuring the top-ten hit of the same name. After Scandal disbanded, Smyth embarked on a solo career, releasing her self-titled album "Patty Smyth" in 1992, which included the single "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough," a duet with Don Henley that reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
