Night Ranger

Night Ranger

80s American Rock Band

Night Ranger is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1979. The group achieved significant popularity during the 1980s with a series of albums and singles. The band's best-known songs include "Sister Christian," "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," "When You Close Your Eyes," and "(You Can Still) Rock in America." Night Ranger's lineup originally consisted of Jack Blades on bass and vocals, Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson on guitars, Alan Fitzgerald on keyboards, and Kelly Keagy on drums and vocals. Their success was notable with the release of their second album, "Midnight Madness," which featured the hit ballad "Sister Christian." Throughout their career, Night Ranger has released more than a dozen studio albums, including "7 Wishes" in 1985, which continued their streak of commercial success. The band has also been known for their energetic live performances, as captured on live recordings such as "Live In Japan." Despite changes in popular music trends and several hiatuses over the years, Night Ranger has continued to tour and produce new music, including their most recent album "ATBPO" (an acronym for "And The Band Played On"), released in 2021. Their longevity and dedication to their craft have earned them a loyal fan base and a respected place in rock music history.
