Medicine Head

Medicine Head

British blues rock duo

Medicine Head was a British blues rock band that achieved success in the early 1970s. Formed in 1968 by John Fiddler and Peter Hope-Evans, the duo became known for their distinctive sound that combined traditional blues with a minimalist approach; often they performed as a duo with Fiddler on guitar and vocals, and Hope-Evans on harmonica, jew's harp, and other instruments. They were signed to John Peel's Dandelion label, through which they released their debut album "New Bottles Old Medicine" in 1970.
