90s American Power Pop Trio

Marvelous 3 was an American rock band that formed in the mid-1990s. The group was led by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Butch Walker, who would later go on to have a successful solo career as well as become a renowned record producer. The band also included bassist Jayce Fincher and drummer Doug Mitchell. Marvelous 3 gained some commercial success with their catchy power pop and alternative rock sound. Their most notable single, "Freak of the Week," came from their second album, "Hey! Album," which was released in 1998. The band released three studio albums in total, with their final album being "ReadySexGo," which came out in 2000. Despite their initial success and a growing fan base, Marvelous 3 disbanded in 2001 as Butch Walker's solo career began to take off.
