Ludomir Różycki

Ludomir Różycki

Polish Classical Composer and Pianist

Ludomir Różycki (1883–1953) was a Polish composer and conductor, part of a group of composers known as Młoda Polska (Young Poland) in music, alongside Karol Szymanowski and Grzegorz Fitelberg. He is less well-known than Szymanowski but made significant contributions to the Polish music repertoire, particularly in the early 20th century. Różycki's compositional output includes ballets, operas, symphonic works, chamber music, and piano pieces. His style was romantic with national elements, and he was adept at creating lush, lyrical melodies.
