Lost Sphere Project

Lost Sphere Project

Experimental Electronic Music Collective

Experimental grindcore/mathcore band from Genève, Switzerland. Active from 2001 to 2012. On May 13, 2012 the band played the last gig and officially splitted up. Members: Mateo el Nabo - vocals (?-2012) Bastien C Anthony - drums (2001-2012) Diogo A. - guitars (2001-2012) Julien L. - bass (2006-2012) JP S. - guitars (2007-2012) Former members: Bruno - bass (2001-2006) Joël - synth/electronics (?-) Stéphane - vocals (?-?) Some lineups 2005: Bastien, Bruno, Mateo, Diogo 2007: JP, Bastien, Mateo, Julien, Diogo 2009: Diogo, JP, Bastien, Mateo, Julien Formed in 2001, Lost Sphere Project was first an emo / electro / experimental project, but a few months of musical experimentation will lead to new directions. The Swiss then engage in a rather hardcore vein, with the arrival of a full-fledged singer in 2002. The result is an already experimental HxC, which will give the group the opportunity to finally be able to let off steam on the stages. After a five-track demo recorded in July 2003 and released in May 2004, the group finally escaped Geneva lands, to take on its true dimension on the different stages it explores. Then, not too much news of the project itself, except for a few dates and regular appearances at the VnV Rock Altitude Festival (Switzerland), its members being particularly busy in other groups (Rorcal, Kess'Khtak. ..). During 2008, events accelerated for the group, which finally recorded its first long-format fire. Entitled "Verse XXIV", it was released in November 2009 via Division Records (ASIDEFROMADAY, Kehlvin, My Own Private Alaska ...) Other releases: 2007 - VNV Rock Altitude Festival DVD 2008 - The Velociraptor EP 2011 - (Re)Verse XXIV - The Remix
