Little River Band is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1975. The group achieved significant commercial success in both Australia and the United States during the late 1970s and 1980s with their melodic soft rock sound. They were the first Australian band to achieve a major commercial success in the United States, with a series of songs that entered the American Top 10, including "Reminiscing," "Lady," and "Lonesome Loser." The band's lineup has undergone numerous changes throughout its history, but the founding members included Glenn Shorrock on vocals, Beeb Birtles on guitar and vocals, Graeham Goble on guitar and vocals, Derek Pellicci on drums, Ric Formosa on lead guitar, and Roger McLachlan on bass guitar. Over the years, Little River Band has released multiple albums that have received critical acclaim and commercial success. Their music continues to be popular, with their greatest hits collections frequently revisited by fans of classic rock and soft rock.
