Lil' Scrappy, born Darryl Kevin Richardson II on January 19, 1984, is an American rapper and record producer. He emerged from the Atlanta hip hop scene in the early 2000s and gained prominence for his energetic style and collaborations with Lil Jon. Lil' Scrappy was discovered by producer and performer Lil Jon while performing at a bar in Atlanta and was one of the first signings to Lil Jon's BME Recordings. He has been associated with labels such as Warner Bros., G's Up, S-Line, and Bonzi Records throughout his career.
