Psychedelic Rock Supergroup

L'épée is a rock supergroup formed by French musician Emmanuelle Seigner, Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Lionel and Marie Liminana of The Limiñanas. The band's name translates to "The Sword" in English. They came together to create music that blends elements of garage rock, psychedelia, and yé-yé. Their debut album "Diabolique" was released in 2019 to critical acclaim within the indie and alternative rock scenes. The collaboration brought together the distinct styles of each member, with Seigner's vocals, Newcombe's psychedelic influence, and the Limiñanas' garage rock sensibilities creating a unique sound. While the band has not been prolific in terms of quantity of releases, their work has been well-received by fans of the members' respective projects.
