Krieg

Krieg is an American black metal band formed by the artist known as Imperial, or Neill Jameson, in Somers Point, New Jersey in 1995. The band is known for its raw and chaotic sound, which is characteristic of the second wave of black metal. Krieg's lyrical themes often revolve around nihilism, misanthropy, and apocalypse. Over the years, Krieg has released a number of full-length albums, including "Rise Of The Imperial Hordes" (1998), "The Church" (2001), and "Destruction Ritual" (2002), which have contributed to their status within the underground black metal scene. The band has undergone numerous lineup changes throughout its career with Imperial being the only constant member. Krieg's contributions to the genre have helped shape the sound of U.S. black metal and they have garnered a dedicated following among fans of extreme music.
