King Khan, whose real name is Arish Ahmad Khan, is a Canadian musician and producer known for his prolific work in the garage rock and psychedelic music scenes. He is best known as the frontman of King Khan and the Shrines, a band he formed in 1999 after moving to Germany. The group is recognized for their energetic live shows and a sound that blends elements of punk, soul, and R&B. King Khan has also been part of other musical projects, including The King Khan & BBQ Show, a raw garage rock duo with Mark Sultan (BBQ). Over the years, King Khan has released numerous albums and singles, both solo and with his various bands, earning a reputation for his flamboyant stage persona and eclectic musical style.
