Joseph Haas

Joseph Haas was a German composer born on March 19, 1879, in Maihingen, Bavaria, and passed away on March 30, 1960. He was a significant figure in the early 20th-century music scene in Germany. Haas studied under Max Reger and Ludwig Thuille and later became a professor of composition at the Stuttgart Conservatory and the Munich Academy of Music. His compositional style was influenced by Romanticism but also incorporated elements of contemporary trends and folk music.
