Jasná Páka is a Czech rock band that was originally formed in 1981 in Prague. The band was founded by Michal Ambrož and other members of the underground music scene. Their music style can be characterized as punk and new wave, and they quickly became known for their energetic performances and distinctive sound within the Czechoslovak music landscape. Notably, Jasná Páka was among the bands that played during the early years of the Prague alternative culture festival "Mezi ploty." After being banned by the communist regime, they reformed in 1984 under the name Hudba Praha, although they still occasionally performed as Jasná Páka. The band's lineup has seen changes over the years, with Michal Ambrož remaining a constant member. They have been an influential force in Czech rock music, contributing to its development and maintaining a loyal fan base throughout their career.
