Jacques Dutronc

Jacques Dutronc

French singer-songwriter and actor

Jacques Dutronc is a renowned French singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer, and actor who emerged as a key figure in the French music scene during the 1960s. Born on April 28, 1943, in Paris, France, Dutronc first gained prominence as a guitarist for the rock group El Toro et les Cyclones. However, his solo career took off after he started working with lyricist Jacques Lanzmann and composer/arranger Jacques Wolfsohn. His self-titled debut album in 1966, which included the hit single "Et moi, et moi, et moi," catapulted him to fame with its catchy melodies and sardonic lyrics.
