Swedish Death Metal Band

Infestdead was a Swedish death metal band formed in the mid-1990s by Dan Swanö, a prolific figure in the Swedish metal scene known for his work with Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, and Bloodbath, among others. The band was a project that allowed Swanö to express a more satanic and anti-Christian theme through his music, which was a contrast to some of his other work. Infestdead released two full-length albums, "Hellfuck" in 1997 and "JesuSatan" in 1999. The music of Infestdead is characterized by its brutal sound and blasphemous lyrics, typical of the death metal genre. After these releases, the project was put to rest, and Swanö continued to focus on his other musical endeavors. The band's work is often noted for its contribution to the extreme metal scene during that era.
