Havohej is an American black metal project formed by Paul Ledney, following his departure from the influential black metal band Profanatica. The name "Havohej" is a reordering of the word "Jehovah," reflecting the band's anti-Christian stance. Havohej's music is known for its raw and minimalist style, often characterized by a lo-fi production, simplistic song structures, and blasphemous themes. Ledney is responsible for all instruments and vocals, making Havohej a one-man project. The project's debut album, "Dethrone the Son of God," was released in 1993 and has since been considered a cult classic in the underground black metal scene. Over the years, Havohej has released several albums and EPs, contributing to its status as an influential entity in the genre of black metal.
