Hans Huber

Hans Huber

Swiss Classical Composer and Pianist

Hans Huber (1852–1921) was a Swiss composer whose work was instrumental in the development of Swiss classical music during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born in Eppenberg-Wöschnau, Solothurn, and studied at the Leipzig Conservatory. Huber's compositional output was prolific and diverse, encompassing operas, symphonies, chamber music, piano works, and choral pieces. His style was influenced by the Romantic tradition, particularly the music of Johannes Brahms.
