Hank Von Helvete, whose real name is Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby, was a Norwegian musician best known as the lead vocalist of the punk rock band Turbonegro. He was with the band from 1993 until his departure in 2010. Turbonegro gained a cult following with their unique blend of punk rock, glam rock, and hard rock, a style they dubbed "deathpunk." They are known for albums such as "Ass Cobra" and "Apocalypse Dudes." After leaving Turbonegro, Hank Von Helvete pursued a solo career and also ventured into acting. His personal struggles with addiction and mental health were often public, and he was open about his journey towards recovery. Hank Von Helvete passed away on November 19, 2021.
