Gunshy

Gunshy

In 1990, the Swiss hard rock band Oxido published the debut album "Breaking Down The Walls" on Mercury Records. As the hoped-for success did not materialize, OXIDO broke up and the musicians John Luke, Patrick Reilly and Mark Levin decided to look for new musicians and found a new band. They found Steve De Biasi (guitar) and Max Zack (drums), who were both in an early line-up of Oxido, and in 1994 they founded the band GUNSHY. In 1995, GUNSHY released their debut album "Mayday" on the German Long Island Records label. In the studio, the prominent musicians Jamie St. James (from Black 'N Blue), Todd Jensen(Hardline (3), Harlow, David Lee Roth) and Tommy Thayer (from Black 'N Blue,Harlow and Kiss) were responsible for the backing vocals. Unfortunately GUNSHY did not have the hoped-for success with "Mayday", and broke up after only one disc. Members: John Luke (lead and backing vocals); Patrick Reilly (keyboards, backing vocals), Steve De Biasi (guitars, backing vocals); Mark Levin (bass, backing vocals); Max Zack (drums, backing vocals).
