Glass Animals is an English indie rock band formed in Oxford in 2010. The group consists of childhood friends Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, and Joe Seaward. They first gained attention with their debut EP, "Leaflings," which was released in 2012. However, it was their debut album "Zaba" in 2014 that brought them widespread acclaim, blending electronic music with indie rock and trip-hop elements. Their follow-up album, "How to Be a Human Being," released in 2016, saw them further refine their sound and received critical praise for its concept-driven storytelling and production. The album earned them a Mercury Prize nomination. In August 2020, Glass Animals released their third studio album, "Dreamland," which included more personal themes and was influenced by frontman Dave Bayley's life experiences. The band is known for their energetic live performances and has built a strong fanbase through extensive touring and festival appearances around the world.
