Gino Sinimberghi

Gino Sinimberghi

Italian Tenor of the Mid-20th Century

Gino Sinimberghi was an Italian tenor, born on February 5, 1913, in Rome, Italy. He is not primarily known as a recording artist who produced albums like "Nabucco," but rather for his performances on stage. Sinimberghi had a successful career in opera, particularly noted for his roles in the works of Giuseppe Verdi and other Italian composers. He made his debut in 1937 and went on to perform at various prestigious opera houses across Europe, including La Scala in Milan and the Vienna State Opera. His repertoire included roles such as Alfredo in "La Traviata," the Duke in "Rigoletto," and Rodolfo in "La Bohème." Sinimberghi's career spanned several decades, during which he was celebrated for his clear voice and elegant style. He passed away on September 20, 1992. While he may have recordings of his performances, specific albums titled "Nabucco" are not a noted part of his discography.
