British Jazz Saxophonist

Gary Windo was a talented saxophonist known for his work in the realms of jazz and rock. Born on November 7, 1941, in Brighton, England, Windo had a career that spanned several decades, during which he collaborated with a variety of notable musicians. He was particularly recognized for his distinctive tenor saxophone playing style. Throughout his career, Windo worked with artists such as Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, the Psychedelic Furs, and Hugh Hopper of Soft Machine. He was also a member of the Carla Bley Band and contributed to various projects with his wife Pam Windo.
