Fifteen

Fifteen

Fifteen was an American punk rock band formed by Jeff Ott in 1990 after the breakup of his former band, Crimpshrine. The band was known for its strong political messages and advocacy for social justice, particularly in their lyrics. Fifteen released several albums throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including "Swain's First Bike Ride" in 1991, "The Choice Of A New Generation" in 1992, and "Buzz" in 1994. Their music often addressed issues such as homelessness, drug abuse, environmentalism, and human rights. Despite never achieving mainstream success, Fifteen gained a dedicated following within the punk community for their earnest activism and heartfelt songwriting. The band went through numerous lineup changes with Ott being the only constant member until they disbanded in 2000. They briefly reunited for live performances in later years.
