David Lindley is an American musician and multi-instrumentalist known for his work as a session musician and bandleader. Born on March 21, 1944, in San Marino, California, Lindley's musical career spans several decades, during which he has become renowned for his skills on string instruments such as the guitar, lap steel guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki. He is perhaps best known for his collaboration with Jackson Browne, playing in his band throughout the 1970s and early 1980s.
