Cracker

Alternative Rock Band Delivers Eclectic Sounds

Cracker is an American rock band, formed in 1991 by lead vocalist David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman. The group is known for its amalgamation of rock, punk, grunge, and country music influences. They gained significant commercial success in the 1990s with their hit songs "Low" and "Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)" from their 1993 album "Kerosene Hat." The band's self-titled debut album "Cracker" was released in 1992 and established their presence in the alternative rock scene. Over the years, Cracker has continued to produce music and maintain a dedicated fan base, with a discography that includes several studio albums, compilations, and live recordings. "Hello, Cleveland! Live From The Metro," which is one of their live albums, showcases the band's energetic performance style. Throughout their career, Cracker has undergone various lineup changes but has remained centered around the core duo of Lowery and Hickman.
