Progressive Math Rock Trio

Covet is an American math rock band from San Francisco, California, known for their intricate guitar work and complex compositions. The band was formed in 2014 by guitarist Yvette Young, who is recognized for her unique two-handed tapping technique and melodic approach to the guitar. Covet's music often lacks vocals, focusing instead on instrumental prowess and emotive soundscapes. Alongside Young, the band's lineup has included bassist David Adamiak and drummer Forrest Rice. They have released several EPs and albums, with their debut full-length album "Effloresce" coming out in 2018. Covet has built a dedicated fanbase within the math rock and instrumental music communities and has toured extensively, showcasing their technical skill and musicality on stages across the world.
