Corrections House

Corrections House

Industrial Metal Supergroup

Corrections House is an experimental music project that emerged as a collaboration between several well-known figures from the heavy music scene. The group includes Mike IX Williams of Eyehategod, Scott Kelly of Neurosis, Sanford Parker of Minsk, and Bruce Lamont of Yakuza. They are known for blending elements of industrial, metal, and spoken word into their sound. Corrections House released their debut album "Last City Zero" in 2013, which showcased their unique approach to music with a dark and atmospheric blend of styles. They followed up with the album "Know How To Carry A Whip" in 2015, further refining their sound and solidifying their place in the experimental metal genre. The band's work is characterized by its bleak lyrical themes and abrasive sonic textures, reflecting the members' backgrounds in sludge, post-metal, and noise.
