Clipse is an American hip-hop duo formed by brothers Gene "No Malice" Thornton and Terrence "Pusha T" Thornton, who originally hail from Virginia Beach, Virginia. The group first gained major recognition after the release of their debut album, "Lord Willin'," in 2002, which was produced by The Neptunes, a production duo consisting of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. Clipse's second album, "Hell Hath No Fury," was released in 2006 to critical acclaim, solidifying their reputation for sharp lyricism and gritty narratives that often revolved around their experiences with drug trafficking and street life.
