Christopher Warren-Green is a distinguished British violinist and conductor, renowned for his work with orchestras around the world. Born on July 30, 1955, he has had a prolific career both as a soloist and as a conductor. Warren-Green has served as the Music Director of the London Chamber Orchestra (LCO) since 1988, where he has led numerous performances and recordings, including works by Rossini, Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin among others. His expertise extends beyond the classical repertoire into film scores and cross-genre collaborations.
