Charly Brunner is an Austrian singer and musician, best known as one half of the sibling duo Brunner & Brunner, which he formed with his brother Johann Brunner, also known as Jogl. The duo was incredibly successful in the German-speaking world throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, producing a string of hits within the Schlager genre. Their music is characterized by catchy melodies and romantic lyrics. After Brunner & Brunner disbanded in 2014, Charly Brunner continued his musical career, partnering with singer Simone Stelzer, who performs under the name Simone. Together, as Charly Brunner and Simone, they have released albums and maintained a presence in the Schlager music scene.
