Spanish Composer and Conductor

Spanish composer and clarinetist from Ochandio, Vizcaya, Basque Country (b. 16 July 1929 – d. 5 June 2002) was a member of the Generation of '51, he was one of the most influential classical composers in the Spanish musical scene of the second half of the 20th century. He worked as clarinetist of Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid Also credited as: "Carmelo Alonso Bernaola" and "Carmelo A. Bernaola". Popular soundtracks and tunes composed: "Athletic Club" football hymn in basque (Athleticen ereserkia, 1982); for RTVE "El pícaro" (1974), "La clave" (1976) and "Verano azul" (1981). Around 82 soundtracks composed like 2Mambrú se fue a la guerra" (1986), "Espérame en el cielo" (1988) or "Pasodoble" (1988).
