Desert Rock Pioneer Brant Bjork and His Groove-Heavy Ensemble

Brant Bjork is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer, best known as a drummer for the influential stoner rock band Kyuss. After Kyuss disbanded in the mid-1990s, Bjork went on to have a prolific solo career and also played with other bands such as Fu Manchu and Vista Chino (formerly Kyuss Lives!). In addition to his work with these groups, Brant Bjork formed his own backing band known as Brant Bjork and The Bros. With this ensemble, he further explored his unique blend of laid-back desert rock, funk, and psychedelic sounds. Brant Bjork's work is characterized by its groove-oriented approach and his ability to fuse various elements of rock music into a cohesive sound that has earned him a dedicated following within the stoner rock and desert rock communities.
