Boots Randolph was an American musician best known for his skillful saxophone playing. Born Homer Louis Randolph III on June 3, 1927, in Paducah, Kentucky, he became one of the most prominent saxophonists in the country and pop music scenes. Randolph's career took off in the 1950s and 1960s when he became a sought-after session musician in Nashville, playing on recordings for Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and many other notable artists.
