Bill Russo, born William Joseph Russo on June 25, 1928, was an American jazz musician, composer, arranger, and educator. He is best known for his work in the realm of jazz and his association with the Stan Kenton Orchestra, where he played trombone and arranged music in the 1950s. Russo's contributions to the Kenton band were significant, as he penned some of the ensemble's most innovative arrangements during that era.
