Big Fun

Big Fun

1980s British Pop Group

Big Fun was a British boy band that was active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group consisted of Phil Creswick, Mark Gillespie, and Jason John (Jason Herbert). They were particularly known for their upbeat dance tracks and were part of the Stock Aitken Waterman 'Hit Factory', which produced a string of hits for various artists during that era. Big Fun released their debut album "A Pocketful Of Dreams" in 1990, which included successful singles such as "Blame It on the Boogie," a cover of the Jacksons' hit, and "Can't Shake the Feeling." Despite their initial success, Big Fun's popularity was relatively short-lived, and they disbanded in 1994. Their contribution to the pop music scene was marked by their association with the vibrant dance-pop sound that characterized much of late '80s UK pop music.
