Andrew Bissell

Multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer from Nashville, Tennessee who also performs under the name Andrew Simple. His father, Roger Bissell, is a jazz trombonist, arranger and composer. His maternal grandfather, Danny Dill, was a country music singer and songwriter who performed on the Grand Ole Opry in the 40s and 50s and wrote two of country music’s quintessential hits — “Long Black Veil” and “Detroit City”. His music has appeared in several television commecials and has played in a Nashville pop duo called Alli 'n' Andrew with Alli Rogers and a band called Danger Twins with Amy Stroup.
