Live In Berlin - Blu-ray

Sting releases footage from his current symphonic tour! British singer, songwriter and most importantly, accomplished musician Sting is currently on a world tour for his album "Symphonicities", where he is accompanied on stage by a symphony orchestra. The tour also included Prague, where Sting, together with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, presented new arrangements of his greatest hits, as well as those he recorded with his home band The Police. Fans will be able to relive the atmosphere of these unique concerts with a CD+DVD set entitled "Live In Berlin", which captures Sting's recent performance in the German capital.The set records the concert that took place on 21 September this year in Berlin's O2 Arena. The project was directed and produced by the prestigious Emmy Award-winning team Graying & Balding, Inc., led by Jim Gable and Ann Kim. They have selected sixteen of the most beautiful songs Sting sang during his concert in Berlin for the CD, and the enclosed DVD will contain the complete setlist of the concert. The complete concert footage will also be available on Blu-ray. Sting's current extraordinary tour began on June 2 in Vancouver and from the very first concert, the tour has been met with very positive reviews and enthusiasm from all visitors. On the tour, Sting is accompanied at all stops by the aforementioned Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra under the direction of Steven Mercurio. Steven is absolutely at the top of his field and has toured alongside the likes of Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti.
