Inspired by this culinary blunder, the title of the Nottingham duo's ninth studio album, the follow-up to 'Key Markets', was born. Singer and rapper Jason Williamson and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Robert Lindsay Fearn recorded a total of twelve new tracks last year for 'English Tapas', which, paradoxical as it may sound, takes their minimalism to a new level in 2017. Because no other band can combine post-punk and rap, hard beats and angry lyrics with socio-political engagement so well under such a "simple" hat. Sleaford Mods have already revealed what it will sound like in advance with their first single "B.H.S.", a reference to the British Home Stores chain of department stores. Less is more. Sleaford Mods present their new album "English Tapas" - minimalism in perfection.
