Einige entschieden sich, originalgetreue Coverversionen zu schaffen, andere wiederum schufen Neuinterpretationen, die nur entfernt an das Original erinnern. Peter Gabriel comes with a long-awaited concept album. Although he doesn't actually come alone. The idea for the album was conceived back in 2010, when Gabriel released a cover version of Scratch My Back. And Gabriel had the idea to reach out to all the musicians whose songs he covered and wanted to release the album in the same year. However, it took a while for some of the artists to record the songs and that's why the album is only being released now.
