The new James Blunt? James Blunt is undoubtedly one of the most successful exponents of his genre. Four albums at number one speaks for itself. Despite all the success, the singer-songwriter has not lost his sense of humor. Last year he proved it with various self-deprecating social media posts announcing his new album "The Afterlove". Blunt recorded ten songs for the record, including the first single "Love Me Better". And it leaves the impression that the 42-year-old singer hung up his signature plush pop in 2017. Instead, the singer with the unmistakable voice sounds like a different person on "The Afterlove": less acoustic, more diverse, more poppy, more modern. He can probably thank his entire team of world-class songwriters and musicians for that. They include Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Shannon Saunders), Johnny McDaid (Example, Biffy Clyro), Stephan Moccio (Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd) and MoZella (Miley Cyrus, One Direction). In addition to the standard CD, "The Afterlove" is also available in an expanded version with three bonus tracks and on LP.
