Havok is an American thrash metal band from Denver, Colorado. Formed in 2004, the band currently consists of David Sanchez (vocals, rhythm guitar), Pete Webber (drums), Reece Scruggs (solo guitar) and Brandon Bruce (bass guitar). Havok has released five studio albums to date: "Burn" (2009), "Time Is Up" (2011), "Unnatural Selection" (2013), "Conformicide" (2017) and "V" (2020). The first three albums were released on the legendary metal label Candlelight Records, carefully remastered on vinyl by Turan Audio and restored by Dan Capp Design. Burn: In June 2009, Havok released their debut album "Burn", which brought them their first attention from the metal community. Time Is Up: In March 2011, Havok released their second album "Time Is Up", which quickly spread among the metal community and garnered great critical and fan acclaim. It became the defining album for what has since been called the thrash metal new wave. The success of Time Is Up led the band to tour extensively, supporting bands such as thrash metal veterans Forbidden, Revocation and White Wizzard, as well as opening for Sepultura, Death Angel and Anthrax. Unnatural Selection: Havok began recording their third album in the spring of 2013. The album "Unnatural Selection" was released in June 2013 and reached the Top 200 of the US Billboard charts in its first week.
