Gov't Mule from the beginning With the album "The Tel-Star Sessions", Gov't Mule presents a new album in 2016. It features previously unreleased demo songs that were recorded during their first sessions together in June 1994 at Tel-Star studios in Bradenton, Florida. They were originally planned for the rock legends' debut album, but again, they were forgotten - until now. "The Tel-Star Sessions" contains a total of ten Gov't Mule songs - a blend of southern, blues and hard rock. They were recorded by the original lineup, which included singer and guitarist Warren Haynes, bassist Allen Woody of the Allman Brothers Band and drummer Matt Abts. Songs include a cover version of the ZZ Top classic "Just Got Paid" as well as original songs. For the new release, all tracks have been completely remixed and mastered. An album of almost forgotten songs. "The Tel-Star Sessions" documents the beginnings of a band that over time earned a reputation as a true rock legend: Gov't Mule.
