Brian Tatler used to lead the genre and heavily influence one band or another. Diamond Head formed in 1976 under the direction of guitarist Brian Tatler and quickly established themselves as the forerunners of the exploding new wave of the British heavy metal scene. With their debut album Lightning To The Nations, Diamond Head became the band that opened the doors for many metal bands and continues to provide endless inspiration to this day. The Coffin Train, Diamond Head's eighth studio album, is an excellent testament to Brian Tatler and Rasmus Bom Andersen's masterful ability to find the necessary ingredients for a first-class Diamond Head album.
