The Hunter is the fifth studio album by American new wave band Blondie , released in 1982. The album was not as successful as their previous albums, but still managed to reach number six on the Billboard 200 chart. The album spawned two singles, "Island of Lost Souls" and "War Child". The album was certified gold by the RIAA.
