The long-awaited new solo album of the country icon It's a minor sensation: in 2017, Alison Krauss is releasing a new solo album called "Windy City". It's her first solo album with new songs in 18 years. Together with producer Buddy Cannon, the American singer and violinist selected a total of ten classic songs and put her own stamp on them. They include country, bluegrass and pop songs such as Willie Nelson's "I Never Cared For You", Glen Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind" and Bill Monroe's "Poison Love". Krauss has already given the first taste of her new album with her rendition of Brenda Lee's "Loosing You" and the title track "Windy City," originally by The Osborne Brothers. In addition to the standard CD and LP versions, "Windy City" is also available in a deluxe edition. In addition to the album tracks, the CD contains seven interesting live versions, including a duet with country singer Jamey Johnson. Her fans have been waiting for this for a long time: the Coutry icon Alison Krauss presents her new solo album "Windy City".
