If you really want to get an idea of where Alice Cooper got his reputation as "the badass of rock 'n' roll", listen to this album. Aside from the singles "Be My Lover" and "Under My Wheels" - which weren't yet as commercial as later mainstream hits "School's Out" and "Elected" - the standouts "Halo Of Flies" and "Dead Babies" make a compelling case. Incidentally, the album was produced by none other than Bob Ezrin, who later contributed to Pink Floyd's The Wall. But that's another story....
