Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers are launching a comeback tour on May 28th, which will hopefully include a stop in Prague and a selection of the best of The Police's work. The North American leg of The Police's tour has 44 shows on the schedule, most of which are already sold out. A mix of rock, reggae and new wave with a dash of jazz, fans will also hear the band in Europe, South America and Australia, but dates have not yet been finalized. What is certain, however, is that The Police will headline the UK leg of the Live Earth concerts on July 7 to highlight the threat of climate change. The world has been looking forward to The Police's comeback since the spring and the Czechs would be seeing them for the first time. The musicians have not reunited in front of fans since their performance for Amnesty International in June 1986, although they never officially announced the break-up. They parted ways after five studio albums and have kept listeners in suspense ever since. Among the 28 songs from the five studio albums is the 1977 debut single Fallout, among others, and one of the best-known and most-played rock ballads of the 80s, Every Breath You Take, as well as other hits such as Roxanne, So Lonely and Can't Stand Losing You.
